Berk de Rooij

Berk de Rooij is a hardware and software developer at VU-AMS. Berk supports the development, prototyping, and refinement of the physical, embedded, and software components of the VU-AMS device, ensuring reliable and accurate physiological data collection in naturalistic research settings. His work includes embedded firmware development, data acquisition and signal processing pipelines, device communication protocols, and software tooling for data validation and analysis. He combines his role with his ongoing technical education in ICT and cybersecurity, applying his practical and analytical expertise to the secure design, implementation, and optimization of ambulatory monitoring systems.
