Abstract: |
The goal of this book is to provide methodological and technical information for
social psychologists and other behavioral scientists who are considering using
peripheral neurophysiological and endocrine measures of psychological con-
structs. This volume is neither exhaustive in terms of the entire range of candidate
endocrine and peripheral neurophysiological systems nor even of the range of
measures within the physiological systems described. Rather, it is meant to give
investigators an informed basis for determining how to validly and valuably use
endocrine and peripheral physiological indexes of social psychological constructs
as measures in their empirical endeavors. |
